Spotlight on Media Services

There is a great group of people you might never notice as you enter the Service. They arrive early and by the time service begins, they have been hard at work. You might not notice them while you are singing a new worship song, watching a video or reading a scripture along with the message. It's easy to walk right past them, but if they weren't there you would definitely notice that they were gone.

There are some very special someones who, while you are enjoying that new worship song, are diligently feeding the lyrics to the screen so that you will know the next verse. Those same someones are keeping up with the message and displaying the scriptures for all of us to read together. Those "someones" are the media services volunteers.

Media Services people have a unique combination of computer skills, focus to detail, flexibility, grace under pressure and rhythm.

So, the next time you're walking out of service and you see one of the these fine "someones" sitting by the computer in the corner of the sound booth, give them a word of thanks for giving all of their time and talent to help make your day of worship that much fuller.
